Welcome to Knot Perfect!
Hi everyone! I’m thrilled to publish my first post at Knot Perfect Crochet and to share my current obsession: micro-crochet earrings—lightweight statement jewelry made using tiny stitches.
These are part of my flower earring collection called Prickly Petals. They feature six-petal flowers with a sharp twist—some are styled with edgy daggers and chains, while others shine with sparkly beads. I made them using DMC Embroidery Floss and a 2.25 mm hook.

Now, working on this scale comes with a cost: my dignity. To actually see these tiny stitches, I have to strap on a pair of oversized magnifying glasses. Do I look completely ridiculous? 100%. But hey—it gets the job done!

Did I still have to frog these a few times before getting the pair to match? Absolutely. But looking silly for a couple of hours was completely worth the end result!
I’ll be sharing plenty more of my earring designs here, alongside the patterns I’m testing, the projects that go right, and the tension disasters that keep me humble.
Thanks for stopping by, and stay tuned for the next project!
